Accepting Death but Fulfilling Life

How to visit

Mission Possible

Even though death may not be your major worry at this time, learning not to fear it can change your existence. Not that you will cross the street without looking, but you shall enjoy greater spiritual strength and better fulfill your life.

Your immensely complex hierarchy counts many veteran Eternons that have been building and maintaining you for years. They lead your systems, organs, tissues, and cells. With your death, the journey will be over for all these faithful companions. Those of your parental gametes, those who coalesced from the instant of your conception, those who ensured your growth and maturity. Enriched by their experience within your organism, they will eventually join other structures and perform more complex functions.

Now you understand this desire within you to carry on. Your attachment to life is nothing but the attachment of your Eternons to their present community. Yet, in cosmic terms, this community is made of short-lived units. Even if your structure does not succumb to accidents or fatal disease, it will end of old age, the terminal ailment.

In spite of your understandable attachment to life, the perspective of dying should not be totally depressing. Eternism hold as a fundamental truths that only your human structure will end. The "cosmic you," your Eternal Eternon is impervious to death. And meanwhile, you have your life, this extraordinary present of you, Leading Eternon, to you, human structure!

Churches have long used the promise of a future life so that millions would passively endure the misery of the present one. Many keep on living resigned, awaiting eternity. For others, life appears more gratifying but, in the end, feels as empty.  Let us say it clearly: Eternism do not want this. Your Eternon did not give you life so that you wait for death or drift along. You have a mission during your human existence.

It is true that you have all the rights to be skeptical about the nature of this mission. A minute blood clot, a second of inattention, a lethal bullet, a so-called "act of God," and your existence is over. So precarious is your earthly adventure  that, for as long as it lasts, you may chose to satisfy your basic instincts.. You will then run after money, power, sex, and other egotistic satisfactions. You will probably derive some pleasure, but as long as you trust your current life is all that counts, you shall remain its material prisoner. On the other hand, the conviction that you are an immortal Eternon will give you unmatched spiritual freedom and will truly enrich your brief incarnation.

Remember: your Eternon destiny dwarfs your human life. The first is your crown jewel, the second merely one of its gems. A gem you ought to cut as perfectly as possible. It does not entail retiring as a monk, passing life meditating, or renouncing to the world. Living a lofty life is not incompatible with making a living. But it means freeing yourself from the bondage of sensory experiences. It also means realizing that the pursuit of ideas is often more fulfilling than the pursuit of things.

Look around you. No matter the length of life or the certitude of death, nothing is idle. All Eternon structures are filled with energy and dynamism. Evolution is the great cosmic tool toward perfection. You cannot wait for others to make the spiritual revolution. You must start promoting your own.

Successfully carrying your human mission is far from impossible. Ignore hatred and pettiness. Forget bigotry and intolerance. Transcend races, nationalities, and religions. Cultivate and project cosmic values. You will not be alone. Together, we shall build a better world for today and for the eternity in us.
